Sunday mornings at Nutts Corner on the Moira Road

Nutts Corner Sunday Market is at 48 Moira Road, near Crumlin, about ten minutes south of Antrim town. It has traded for around 50 years on part of the old Nutts Corner airfield, beside the roundabout where the A26 meets the A52.

Listings give Sunday hours of about 7am to 4pm, with car boot sellers setting up earlier. Entry has cost about £1. Many stalls are outdoors, so dress for the weather, and check the market's Facebook page before a long drive.

Last Saturday of the month at The Junction

The Junction retail park, at 111 Ballymena Road (BT41 4LL) beside the M22, holds an outdoor food and craft market on the last Saturday of every month. The public comes in from 11am to 4pm, and there is parking on site.

Urban Market Retail runs it, and the same team runs a Christmas market at The Junction over a weekend in the second week of December: 11am to 5pm on the Saturday and 12pm to 4pm on the Sunday.

The 1726 market house on Market Square

Antrim's Old Courthouse on Market Square was built in 1726 as a court above and an arched market hall below. In the 1830s the town held a Thursday market and fairs for cattle and pigs. It is now a small theatre and visitor point.
