Late June in the grounds of Glenarm Castle
The summer market runs over a Saturday and Sunday at the end of June. In 2026 it was on 27 and 28 June. Listings gave closing times of 4pm and 5pm, so check your ticket for the hours.
Entry is by timed ticket bought in advance at tedberry.co.uk. In 2025 tickets were £12 for adults and £4 for children aged 4 to 16. The market ticket has included the castle's walled garden.
Pottery, prints, pet treats and cider: what the stalls sell
Tedberry looks for independent makers and small brands that are not on the high street. The list of stallholders changes between the Saturday and the Sunday, so each day is a little different.
Expect ceramics, jewellery, prints, candles and soaps, knitwear, children's clothes and home goods. Dog treats and collars have a strong following. Northern Ireland cider makers, distillers, bakers and street food vans make up a large part of the market.
Getting picked as a Tedberry vendor
Stalls are not first come, first served. Sign up on the vendors page of tedberry.co.uk with your name and email, and you hear when the next application round opens.
The organisers choose every stall and want a broad mix, so a clear brand and products not already well covered help. Rounds have closed about ten weeks before the market; for the 2024 Christmas market, the date was 13 September.
Stand fees, sizes and insurance rules are not on the public site. Ask when you apply. The organisers have used [email protected].
Parking at the castle and the 162 bus up the coast
Glenarm Castle is beside Glenarm village on the A2 coast road, postcode BT44 0BD. The castle charges for parking from 17 March to 31 October, £3 for the day. Walled garden ticket holders park free, and the market ticket has included the garden.
Without a car, take the train from Belfast to Larne Town, then the Ulsterbus 162 along the coast to Glenarm. The 162 has run Monday to Saturday only, so plan a Sunday visit by car.
The castle describes its walled garden as fully accessible.
The Christmas edition moves venue each year
Tedberry has also held a Christmas market in late November, at the Eikon Exhibition Centre in 2022, the Titanic Exhibition Centre in Belfast in 2024 and Down Royal Racecourse near Lisburn in 2025.
At Down Royal it opened Friday 4pm to 10pm and Saturday and Sunday 9.30am to 6pm. Tickets were £8 for adults and £4 for children aged 2 to 16, bought in advance.
From a kitchen-table embroidery business to 500 traders
Sarah Thompson started the embroidery business Ted & Stitch at her kitchen table in 2021. She began the market in the Covid years to give online-only small businesses a shop front for a day.
The first market was at Galgorm Castle near Ballymena in 2022. The Thompsons say their markets have now hosted more than 500 local businesses.
